Small items touched by many hands, such as phones, pagers, remote controls, scanners and keyboards, are easy to overlook. ZEUS gives staff a simple routine: open the door, place the items, close the door and press go.
It needs only a single-phase mains connection, so it can sit at a nurses' station, in a lab or at a department entrance.
ZEUS uses UVC at 253.7 nm, delivered on all six planes at a defined intensity and distance. Finsen Tech reports that third-party testing showed a 30-second cycle achieves a log 9 (over 99.9999999%) reduction.
Because the process uses only UVC light, there are no residues, no drying time and no need for specialist ventilation.
