Overview

Two models cover most needs: PLASMAIR Guardian for high flow in larger rooms and theatres, and PLASMAIR Sentinel, a smaller, quieter unit for patient rooms and NICU-type settings.

Technology

airinspace's patented HEPA-MD® reactor combines non-thermal (cold) plasma, which destroys microorganisms, with electrically active collection media and a medical HEPA filter for very high particle efficiency. The units also retain volatile organic compounds and odours, and airinspace states they release no toxic by-products and create no formaldehyde.

airinspace reports that the effectiveness of HEPA-MD® has been demonstrated by independent institutions including CNRS and the Harvard School of Public Health. Both units connect to IMMUNAIR® and BIOCAIR® to create protected environments.
