Technology

THOR uses continuous-wave UVC. UVC intensity falls with distance (the inverse square law), so output and placement decide the dose each surface receives. THOR maps the room, positions itself and extends its lamp tower to the optimum height, which reduces shadowed areas and shortens cycles.

Four motion sensors monitor the room during the cycle and switch the tower off automatically if movement is detected. Each cycle is recorded so infection-control teams have documented evidence of what was treated.
