Regular eye screening protects sight, and AI makes it possible to screen many more people. RetinaLyze analyses fundus photographs and returns a result within moments, so diabetes centres, primary care, optometry and eye clinics can screen at scale.
RetinaLyze System A/S is a Danish company whose algorithms and services are CE marked and clinically validated. Capnova brings RetinaLyze to healthcare providers in the region with set-up, training and support.
RetinaLyze screens colour fundus images for signs of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma, and checks image adequacy at the time of capture.
It also supports OCT analysis and includes the Advanced Glaucoma Progression AI with the Glaucoma Index of Progression (GIP) to track change over time.
The platform is web-based with end-to-end encryption. A telemedicine module shares images with specialists, and the system can be accessed online or integrated with existing healthcare software.
