Tablets, infusion pumps, monitors, ultrasound probes for non-invasive use and other shared devices move between patients all day. Many cannot go into an autoclave or washer-disinfector, and wiping by hand misses crevices and handles.
HYPERION gives these items a fast, repeatable UVC cycle at room temperature and pressure, with no chemicals or gases, and keeps a traceable record of each cycle.
UVC light reaches the item from all sides (360°), including hard-to-reach areas that are often missed during manual cleaning. Because the process is dry and at ambient conditions, it suits sensitive electronics.
An Independent Monitoring System (IMS) records data for every cycle. Reports can be printed or accessed digitally, from an SD card or a network-connected device, to provide an audit trail.
